As thefts are increasing day by day security is becoming a major concern nowadays. Both passwords can be changed as and when required. Password based door lock system using 8051 microcontroller circuit design uses five major components a microcontroller an l293d motor driver a dc motor a 4 4 matrix keypad and a 16 2 lcd. This automatic password based lock system will give user more secure and low cost way of locking unlocking system.

In this project we will make a digital door lock system with keypad using arduino uno. The circuit of this project uses three separate parts namely a reader a controller and door lock.
